Leslie Lebeau (Cameron-Bandler)

  Leslie Lebeau (Cameron-Bandler)

Leslie Lebeau (Cameron-Bandler) is one of the original developers of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Compelled by her belief that given a chance and the wise use of NLP, all good things could happen in this world, Leslie established the International Society of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and the NLP Division of Training and Research (DOTAR) in Santa Cruz, California. This was the first training center in the field of NLP. It was there that Leslie co-developed and inaugurated the original Practitioner and Master Practitioner credentialing programs. She directed the credentialing of the first waves of NLP trainers and the authorization of the early NLP Training Institutes in order to realize her vision of putting NLP out and into the world.

Leslie was an integral contributor to the original techniques and models of NLP. Later she took the lead in the development of metaprograms, models of the structure of emotions, compelling futures, and Imperative Self therapy. During her 20 years in the field, Leslie led hundreds of NLP Trainings, maintained a therapy practice, and authored or co-authored a number of books, including Neuro-Linguistic Programming Volume 1, Solutions, Know How, The Emprint Method, The Emotional Hostage, and The NLP Home Study Guide, and the videotape demonstrations, "Lasting Feelings" and "Making Futures Real."

Throughout her tenure in the field, Leslie labored to imbue Neuro-Linguistic Programming with nobility and loving kindness. She was known for her creativity and enduring commitment to the well-being of others. Leslie developed, taught and applied the technology of NLP as a vigorous expression of her faith in the extraordinary potentialities of the human heart and mind. It is in this spirit that she now returns to sponsor the NLP World Community Awards.
